Terms and conditions
1. Respect for places and guests
You have booked a stay at LOIRE VALLEY LODGES and we thank you. You will live immersed in a Protected classified forest that deserves your greatest respect. We draw your attention to the fact that life in the forest is unique and refreshing, but you will probably encounter insects, mammals and other beautiful birds.
We ask you to respect the silence of these places, for your comfort and that of your neighbours.
Upon arrival, you will place your vehicle in the parking lot and you will exclusively walk once in the premises of the hotel or in case of emergency, in electric cart.
During your stay, we ask you to comply with all safety instructions as they have been given to you by our receptionist.
2. Arrival and Departure
Arrivals can be made from 4pm and before 7pm. In case of late check-in, please notify the reception. Late arrival possible under the conditions you notify the hotel the day before your arrival before 7pm.
On the day of your departure, the lodges must be released before 11am.
3. Booking
To be valid your reservation must be fully paid.
The amount of the stay will be charged with your credit card in full upon booking.
4. Retraction
Regardless of your booking method, you have a cancellation period of 7 days from your booking date. In case of cancellation
In case of cancellation, we will charge an administrative fee equivalent to 6% of the reservation amount.
5. Amendment or Cancellation
Only changes in residence by e-mail – preferably reservation@loirevalleylodges.com or by simple mail to Loire Valley Lodges -La Duporterie-37320 Esvres sur Indre, will be taken into account.
- Cancelation prior stay :
A cancellation insurance is available as an option for you to subscribe on our website only. It will allow you to have your stay refunded in case of cancelation.
If you haven’t subscribed to this insurance, the cancelation is NOT possible. However, you can modify the dates of your stay if needed (see the next section).
b) Modification prior stay :
You can modify your stay at more than 30 days prior check-in without fee and according to availabilities in the 12 months following the initial booking.
Between 7 and 30 days from the first day of your stay, you can modify your booking according to availabilities in the 12 months following the initial booking with administrative fees of 30% of the total amount of your booking.
At less than 7 days prior arrival, the date of your stay is UNMODIFIABLE
c) Modification of stay due to Loire Valley Lodges BEFORE your arrival
If the conditions beyond our control do not allow us to welcome you in good conditions, such as in case of orange weather, bad weather, storm or storm warnings, or other major external events, management reserves the right to cancel your stay for security measures. In this context, we will offer the postponement of your stay, within the current 12 months. If you have already left your home, we will offer to relocate you to other types of accommodation with equivalent comfort at no extra cost. And in this case only, you will benefit from a gift voucher worth 50% of your scheduled stay, valid for a future stay or on-site options (massages, bar, restaurant, forest baths, etc.) usable within the current 12 months.
If you are not satisfied with any of these offers, you will be reimbursed for all amounts paid; no further compensation may be claimed.
d) Modification or cancellation of stay by Loire Valley Lodges in SITU
For security reasons, such as Orange Weather Alert, with outdoor events announced outside of our control, such as weather, storm or storm, management reserves the right to cancel your night at the lodge. A relocation in other types Accommodation of equivalent comfort will be offered according to availability and without charge, and in this case only, you will receive a gift voucher worth 50% of your scheduled stay, valid for a future stay or on site options (massages, bar, restaurant, forest baths, etc.) usable within the current 12 months. No further compensation may be claimed. Only if we did not have a relocation solution available, the full amount paid will be refunded.
In case of modification or cancellation of stay by yourself once on the site or in case of refusal of access to your lodge, no compensation can be claimed.
6) Buy and booking a gift card:
a) Validation:
The gift cards are valid for life, without limitation. They can be used everyday the hotel is open, according to availabilities.
An early booking must be made at least between 6 months and 1-year prior arrival according to the season and chosen lodge.
b) Cancelation of modification prior stay:
The gift cards are submitted to the same cancelation and modification policies as a standard booking.
7) Capacity
All our lodges are equipped and insured to accommodate 2 people. Children are not allowed below 4’3 and under the responsibility of parents for safety and insurance reasons. Only the tariffs appearing on the website of our partners and ours are valid. To this price will be added the tourist tax payable on arrival.
8) Prices
Our prices are tax included. Only the prices on our website are valid. To these prices adds the city taxes that have to be paid at the hotel.
9) Accepted Methods of Payment
Bank transfer: Crédit Agricole Paris – IBAN FR76 1820 6001 5065 0502 7889 656 BIC AGRIFRPP882 . The sum must be paid in full to our bank account: the transfer fees are at your expense.
Bank or postal cheque, payable to Loire Valley Lodges (French accounts only).
Credit card: Mastercard, Visa and Amex
Attention: whatever your payment method, please indicate the reference of your reservation with your payment.
10) Animals
Our friends pets are not allowed on the property. We can arrange a day-care nearby if you wish.
11) Valuables
It is recommended not to leave valuables in the accommodation. Management cannot be held responsible for stolen or damaged items in the Lodges. A safe is nevertheless available in your lodge.
12) Claims
Any claim relating to a stay must be sent by registered letter with A.R. within 30 days of the stay to the following address:

13) Consumption of alcohol and cigarettes
It is strictly prohibited to be intoxicated in the lodges or public areas.
Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms. All our lodges are equipped with terraces on which you are allowed to smoke, insofar as no cigarette butt will be abandoned in nature. Ashtrays are at your disposal.
14) Litigation
In the event of a dispute, the Commercial Court of Paris shall have jurisdiction.
We would also like to thank you for respecting the paths, not riding in the grass and limiting your car trips, which obviously must be done by feet, especially in case of wet weather.
By accepting these general conditions of sale, I am aware that my stay takes place in the heart of nature, with the hazards that it can present: variable weather, the presence of insects, birds and mammals in the vicinity of the huts and which can also be encountered indoors.
