What time is the check-in ?

You can arrive from 4pm to 7 pm, if you wish to arrive before that, we offer to keep your luggage in a
safe locked place in order to let you enjoy the pool or activities nearby.

What time is the check-out ?

The room has to be checked-out before 11am. However, you will be able to enjoy the hotel and
activities all afternoon.

When do you charge my account/credit card?

To secure your stay, the full amount due for your booking must be paid at the time of reservation, however we do offer an optional cancellation insurance, allowing you to cancel your booking anytime.

Can I cancel my booking if I didn't take the cancellation insurance?

You can not cancel your stay and your stay is not refundable. You may modifiy your booking according to our cancelations policies that you can find in our terms and conditions at the bottom of this webpage.

Is my booking modifiable ?

Only booking modifications made by e-mail (preferred method) addressed to reservation@loirevalleylodges.com or by postal mail to Loire Valley Lodges -La Duporterie- 37320 Esvres sur Indre, will be taken into account.

 

Modification before your stay:

You can change your stay more than 30 days before your arrival free of charge and subject to availability for the current calendar year only.

If you change your stay between 7 and 30 days before your arrival, you can modify your reservation according to availability during the current calendar year for a fee of 30%.

At less than 7 days before your stay, the arrival date cannot be changed. Any postponement to a subsequent calendar year will incur a 30% fee.

Modification of your stay by Loire Valley Lodges BEFORE your arrival:

If conditions beyond our control do not allow us to welcome you in good conditions, such as in case of orange-level weather alerts, bad weather, storm or thunderstorm warnings, or other major external events, management reserves the right to cancel your stay for security reasons. In this context, we will propose the postponement of your stay to a later date, within the current 12 months. If you have already left your home, we will suggest you relocate to other types of accommodations with equivalent comfort at no extra cost. And in this case only, you will benefit from a gift voucher worth 50% of your scheduled stay, valid for a future stay or for options on site (massages, bar, catering, forest baths) usable within 12 months.

If you are not satisfied with any of these offers, you will be reimbursed for all amounts paid; no further compensation may be claimed.

 

Modification or cancellation of stay by Loire Valley Lodges in SITU:

For security reasons, especially in case of an orange-level weather alert, with announced climactic events beyond our control, such as bad weather, storms or thunderstorms, management reserves the right to cancel your night in the lodge. A relocation in other types of accommodation of equivalent comfort will be offered according to availability and without charge, and in this case only, you will benefit from a gift voucher worth 50% of your scheduled stay, valid for a future stay or options on site (massages, bar, catering, forest baths …) usable within the current 12 months. No other compensation can be
claimed. Only if we were unable to provide an available relocation solution, will the full amount paid be refunded. In case of modification or cancellation of stay by yourself once on the site or in case of refusal of access to your lodge, no compensation can be claimed.

What are the payments methods ?

We accept payments by credit card, Visa, Master card, AMEX for an online booking or mail and
phone booking.

Is the city tax included in the price of the booking ?

No, the city tax is not included and is due on your arrival (2,53 € per person and night)

Can I order a drink in my room ?

Every Lodge has a hot and cold drink minibar (coffee, tea, hot chocolate…).

When and how can I enjoy breakfast ?

Breakfast is ALWAYS included in the price of your stay and you can enjoy it every morning from your
lodge since it is delivered in a basket you just have to lift when you are ready.

How do I proceed if coming back late by car ?

Let the reception desk now prior arrival, we will find you a solution.

Can we come with our car in the premises of the hotel ?

The hotel is “Car free”, therefore cars are prohibited within the hotel and by the lodges. Parking is
offered to drop off your car. If you do not want to walk, we can accompany you with electric carts to
your lodge. We also offer a luggage storage service that will take care of dropping off your luggage
for you.

Do you offer hotel transfer?

Our hotel offers a concierge service and can book you everything you need including a taxi to come
and go if needed or a rental car.

Are pets allowed ?

Pets are not allowed but we can book you a shelter for the night nearby if needed.

Is WIFI available inside the suites ?

No. Wifi is not available in order to provide you the best digital detox possible. However, you will find
free wifi available in the main areas (bar, lounge..)

How to use the SPA ? Can I use it when I want ?

The SPA is exclusively at YOUR disposal and yours only. You can use it as you please. A manual is in
the lodge to explain you how it works and we stay available at the reception desk when needed.

Do you have a dedicated room for massages ?

No, because we deliver the massage directly into the lodges in order to offer you more privacy.
Everything comes to you.

Is the location safe ?

All our suites have safes and cameras in order to keep you and your belongings safe. Our staff is also
trained to be careful.

Are candles allowed in the Lodges ?

No, for safety measures candles are forbidden in order to avoid fire or injuries but don’t worry, you
room has soft light for a good night.

Can we smoke in the Lodges ?

The rooms are non-smoking, but the private terraces – partly sheltered – offer you the possibility to
smoke outdoors even if it rains. You can even smoke a cigar. However, we ask you to be very
attentive to your ashes and butts… Fire is a real danger for the forest. Thank you for using the
ashtrays available on the terraces. If you smoke in the alleys of the forest, we thank you for being
very careful with the ashes in case of drought and not to throw your butts on the ground… Neither
the trees nor the animals will recycle them.

Are there blinds in the rooms to protect from the morning light ?

There are no blinds in the lodge in order to enjoy the morning light that has benefits on your health.
Wake-up with the morning light is highly advised. However we can offer you sleeping masks if you
need some. .

What is the size of the bed ?

The beds are king Size.

Are the Lodge heated during winter ?

The Lodges are well-isolated. There is however a heating system in the bedroom and a heating device
in the bathroom. The lounge bar welcomes you in winter around a chimney fire.

Are the lodges eco-responsible ?

Our lodges are built on stilts from wood species present in the surrounding forest. The wood has not
received any saturation treatment. Regarding water, we have opted for bio purification. This system
allows us to use less water resources by recycling, for example, the water we already use. We have chosen eco-certified maintenance products, made from ingredients that are not harmful to health but effective. For waste treatment, we have opted for a sorting system that allows recycling but also the use of compost.
