Created exclusively for LOIRE VALLEY LODGES by Anne-Sophie DUFEUTRELLE, specialized in energy massages and energy rebalancing, our forest massages are practiced in your private lodge –on the terrace or in your room– in harmony with the scents and sounds of the surrounding nature. All our massages incorporate natural elements from trees, plants, flowers or even the essences of our forest, starting with our exclusive massage oil based on essential oils. An energy boost, an inner journey, a sensory experience to help you reconnect with your body, and your self.

Composed of monumental contemporary works installed by renowned artists. Nature inspires, welcomes and magnifies. Take a stroll and pause before a bronze by Clauda, a stag by Laurent Garreau, a giant ant by Michel Audiard, an XXL scale by Pierre Marie Lejeune, a totem by AURELE, a cow from the Cow parade painted by Jacques BOSSER.

We have bicycles at your disposal so that you may explore our wooded lanes and discover the different atmospheres of the forest. You can also visit the charming village of Esvres, just 5 km away, with its church and shops offering local products, as well as the picturesque banks of the Indre River.

Let time go, let it stretch out and dissolve… This may be a good time to wallow in a book. Our library and corner-shop offer an array of books on nature, trees, sylvotherapy, slow-living, contemporary art… To open the mind, the spirit, to be amazed.

Have you ever felt how much it is pleasant to stay into a hot jacuzzi while having your head in cool air staring at the nature when it’s cold outside ?
We have pushed the idea further : we put the swimming pool into use (but not heated !) and we installed a nordic bath right next to the swimming pool to allow you to live another sensory experience.
You can warm up in a 40°C bath, then swim a few lengths in the cold pool and go back in the hot bath…
You just need to book a time range at the reception to enjoy this experience. (Towels and blanckets at are your disposal in the locker room near the pool as well as a hairdryer.)

Spend a royal weekend visiting the Valley of the Kings and its 150 listed monuments. Must-see castles : Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau, Amboise, Clos Lucé, Chaumont sur Loire, Chambord and Cheverny.

Tours, capital of France during the reign of Francis the 1st, has a vast cultural and historical legacy and spans the longest river in France, classified by UNESCO: The Loire. Walk its cobbled streets of the Middle Ages and admire its half-timbered houses. Discover its monuments (St Gatien Cathedral, a Gothic jewel listed as a historic monument; St Martin’s Basilica; the Opera house, whose staircase is inspired by Paris’ Opéra Garnier), visit its Museum of Fine Arts which contains a collection of works by Balzac or even Monet, admire the Place Plumereau, elected most beautiful square in France. If the weather is right, continue along the banks of the Loire and observe a beautiful summer sunset on the terrace of a “guinguette” (an open-air bar). You might also enjoy Tours’ museum of contemporary art (the CCCOD) or the museum of wine and vines which is only 10 minutes away from the city centre by car.

River trip: Discover the Cher on a cruise or a gourmet cruise, glide beneath the castle of Chenonceau or opt for the rental of an electric boat for an excursion in complete freedom. Sportier ones can explore the Cher in a canoe.
