A special lodge…set on the edge of a pond where animals come to drink and relax, STEEL IN LOVE
offers two terraces, one of which is equipped with a sauna. It is therefore suitable for people with
reduced mobility. On the pond, has landed a giant dragonfly created for you by the Garreau brothers.
She’s the keeper of your nights. Inside the Lodge, a design furniture, with fluid and simple shapes so
that you can fully enjoy the surrounding nature and the filtering lights through the large douglas trees
bordering this pond.

The benefits of a hotel in the trees
Our lodges have the layout of a hotel suite, bringing you the same level of hospitality, comfort and service you would expect from a hotel. With a living area of 35 sq. m, they are all fitted with a fully equipped bathroom, Italian shower, separate toilets, and mini bar with hot and cold drinks to satisfy your desires at any time of the day. Each lodge extends into a 25 sq. m terrace that includes a private spa. Everything has been designed to ensure complete privacy and allow you to fully immerse yourselves in nature.
Interview
The forest, the trees … power and serenity from the Earth, as well as iron ore.
Laurent Garreau
Tell us what motivated you to join this project, how did you draw inspiration from the space and the nature around it ?
A road, then a path, then the forest. Nothing but trees. No human noises, no neon scars. The forest, the trees… power and serenity, coming from the Earth, just like iron ore. Taking a few steps, a pond: water, wood and steel . How can I not say yes?
How did you select the works of your lodge?
My borther Jerome and I do most of our works about animals. The deer to pay tribute to the Woods, the dragonfly for water and life ... The animals, birds, insects of the forest will invite themselves in this exhibition, but also some spirits "sylvae", as time goes by, and seasons.
Sculptor
Laurent Garreau
As a skilled boilermaker, Laurent set himself up in 2010 and began to sculpt, first of all from the
monumental, then gradually from the most “reasonable”. Jérome, the florist, joins the dance at the
end of 2015, giving up the petal in favor of metal. Together they create the Terrier, in Loches, a
polymorphic place, serving as a workshop and gallery . Bestiary holds an important place in their
steel sculptures; probably because it is a disguised face of the human being.
